DETAILS // The Al Ghuweifat Checkpoint is located at the border between KSA and UAE. The Border Post will form a new gateway that accommodates checkpoints for passenger vehicles, coaches, and lorries. This includes all required operational spaces and facilities, services and equipment, waiting areas, and control points necessary for a fully functioning border crossing. The new gateway also includes passengers rest and comfort facilities, with associated restaurants, Duty Free Shops, bank outlets, fast food concessions and other relevant amenities.

Pre contract role involving cost budgeting and cost reporting by the way of preparing feasibility estimates during design development working closely with the client’s design and engineering team in order to meet various stakeholder requirements. We aimed to insure design development was kept in accordance with the client’s financial budget. Under our cost management services we were also responsible for the preparation of the bills of quantities and the tender package structure as part of the client’s tender documentation. Key project attributes include 22 buildings and 200 pre-fab immigration booths, 35km of roads and related infrastructure, all security systems and operational equipment.
